Life in our new house

So, we have been in the new place for almost a week.  It feels SO nice to be out of that tiny, old cramped apartment.

The first night in the new place, I felt like I was at a retreat somewhere.  The tiled shower was like a spa, and is way different than any other bath I have had (even at our old house).

We woke up the next morning, and walked out on the upstairs deck to let the pups go potty.  It was so nice to sit quietly beside the love of my life, with a cup of coffee in hand and watch the sun come over the trees in our new backyard.

I think know that I am really going to love it here.  I already do!!

I think everyone else is adjusting nicely as well!

I have noticed that when I cook now, Molly likes to keep me company.

This was just a quick, thrown together meal before we headed out to the HOA meeting to meet our new neighbors.

 The meeting went great...Such nice people and a great little neighborhood community.  I think I might

join one of the committees once we get settled.  Maybe the decorating committee?

This subdivision knows how to decorate!!  

I knew this was the place for us, when we drove by during Christmas to check on the house and the entrance to the neighborhood and all of the community areas were beautifully decorated... because you all know how much I LOVE Christmas!
